Roberto Guerra, who co-directed Design Is One, died on January 10, 2014, which happened to be Massimo’s 83rd birthday.

Massimo Vignelli, one of the most revered designers of all time, died on May 27, 2014, five days after what would have been Roberto’s 72nd birthday.

Lella Vignelli, life-long partner and collaborator with Massimo, died on December 22, 2016 after a long illness.

Their joy for life and creativity and humanity will live on through all the work they created and in all the lives they have touched.
